Are you looking for something fun and interesting for your children to do this summer that's secretly educational? Want to let your child explore their imagination, develop soft skills, and meet some new friends?
We're here to help! Raven Forge Games is back again with our Dungeons and Dragons Summer Camp to help break up the boredom.
Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm
We go beyond just D&D, with lots of hands-on activities that other camps don't offer. Our activities are designed to develop skills while engaging your child all day with rich entertainment and excitement. We've also partnered with several professional guest instructors to help ensure an amazing experience.
We're cranking up the camp up to 11 this year, with new and exciting activities never before done at our camps!
Check out some of the new things we have planned (with even more in the works that we can't unveil yet).
Parry and Thrust
We're taking role play to the next level with classes designed to teach safe and fun ways to Live Action Role Play (LARP). Campers will be introduced to sword fighting with foam swords, costume design, and acting skills that will strengthen their personalities in and out of game.
Cartographer's Apprentice
Tables will build unique worlds that they will play in this year, designing locations, inhabitants, and environments. They'll create rich maps that will then be used to inspire our DM's to create fantastical sessions. This activity strengthens attention to detail, grasping the big picture, and creativity.
The Plot Thickens
DM's will use player inspired input to help them develop plot hooks and teach players effective story building. By the end of the camp, participants will have a unique campaign of their own imagination that they helped create and play in. No existing D&D adventure will be played as in previous years.
My Kingdom for a Horse
Work as a team to navigate trade deals, land expansions, and political power, while avoiding war, bankruptcy, and the loss of your kingdom. This new activity is designed to test campers abilities to deal with conflict, hone communications skills, and build negotiation tactics.
We will also have some fan favorites returning like Miniature Painting, Crafts, and of course D&D but with a few twists!
We know our returning campers will love all the changes and walk away with something new.
This year the cost will be $400 for both weeks ($200 per week)
That's less than $6 per hour for one of the best camps around! We're also going to include the following items below:
Professional Staff
Pizza Party on Fridays
$30 RFG Gift Card
Miniature
Dice Set
Daily Snack
Lunch Monday - Thursday each week (Pizza Party Lunch on Fridays is included).
Players will be expected to be dropped off and picked up on time each day by a legal guardian.
A good attitude and open imagination!
Special drinks/snacks if required. Campers will have access to free water during the day and one free provided snack (fruit, cookie, or similar).
Campers are also encouraged to use their $30 gift card to use for drinks/snacks in store throughout the 2 weeks.
Children advancing into 4th grade up to 12th grade are welcome to attend. We feel this is the correct age for kids to participate.
Sorry to our slightly younger players, but we have some options available in store to take home and play with parents.
Wyrmlings 4th-6th Grade
Drakes 7th-9th Grade
Dragons 10-12th Grade
